I live in a country where fans of the national team have, for four decades, got pissed up and trashed foreign capitals and racially abused their own players as well as supporting the far right. Backed by the English media.

I don’t identify with them and hope they lose every game.

Within the next ten years, they’ll introduce a quota of players who can transfer from one country to another - probably start slowly with upto 3 per country and before we know it, the World Cup will be like the Champions League for internationals…
