How anyone can write within a 300 character limit is beyond my comprehension. This poem started as a post and ended in my notes app growing well beyond any imposed character confinement. Poetry must always be rebellious. Always demanding of a longer stay, always with more to

Bittersweetly, I’ve finished my summer reading. I could not have chose 3 books more different from each other. I’ve been teleporting from the hardships of Russia in the early 1900’s, to the glamorous chaos of LA in the 60’s, to the haunting magic of a seaside town in 1940’s Cornwell.
