I wouldn’t call a Pope speaking about the poor and immigrants ‘divisive.’ Maybe it’s time some so-called conservatives looked in the mirror and asked themselves if they’re truly following the teachings of Christ—or just clinging to a political ideology completely at odds with them.

A sitting Member of Congress called for an American citizen to be stripped of their citizenship and deported—solely for expressing political views they disagree w/. This is textbook authoritarianism. If you’re still wondering whether we’ve reached the brink of fascism, you’re not paying attention.
