Can we rename the white house "Holding Cell" until 2028?
For me, the real kick in the pants, the shattering of my understanding of the balance of powers. Each branch is cleverly positioned to check the other to prevent tyrannical rule... or so I thought. Justice, Legislative, Executive failed and we elected a tyrant.
I don't where this all ends up, but I don't think a democracy in which only one of the two major parties is committed to peaceful transition of power is particularly sustainable!

I love the story of Adam Schiff. He was stripped off his committees in the House by the maga caucus & made it to the Senate. Like, you tried to get a coworker fired and now he works in the corporate office. Poetic karma.
