I am the adult child of an immigrant to America. If it weren't for the USA accepting my father, his parents, and siblings in 1921, I probably would not have been born. The rest of the extended family left in Lithuania were wiped out by Nazi sympathizers in the 1940s. (Statue of Liberty picture)

Did anyone else here receive an email message from the Social Security Administration applauding the passage of the "big, beautiful bill?" I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this, since the Trump administration has taken over the agency.
