I also think people meet through friends online now and those surveys lump them in the online bucket and not the friend bucket or the mutual interest bucket

I someone who took his ball and ran off ( Left America for EU during Trump 45) we should not be taken seriously and there are so few of us. Media will drag out some people who leave New York but it is a fraction of an anecdote. There are a million bigger reasons people stay or leave besides mayor

They either dont care, and just want stuff for themselves. Or if they do care they like it. No one who could possibly be bothered by his behavior is still supporting him.

Exactly, this is one of the many things that was allowed to exist because of custom or whatever. Turns out now that we have a bull in the china shop we probably should have actually made safeguards, instead of putting our vibes and schoolhouse rock videos.

The only friends who sent flowers to my Dad's funeral were a group of discord buddies. Some I see once a year at a gaming convention, many I have never met. They are my best friends, and I feel lucky to have them
