I did get around reading her memoirs, and the book is worth the read. She struggled alot, but her journey is so crazy that you question how she can still look and be fabulous 😏✨️

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Another thing to mention because I was rewatching the pool scene. I just thought it was funny that there is like 4 different animation style going on with the eyes alone, and everyone running away like The Flintstones characters .

Day 30 of #Halloween_month_2025

Before Mad Monster Party, there was Mad Mad Mad Monster party. All I can say is the bellhop is a pretty chilled dude, but the story is a little bland for all the movie monsters being together. Go watch the claymation version.

Day 27 of #Halloween_month_2025

Let's get down to business. Who is your favorite queen of darkness? I am a big fan of #MorticiaAddams_1960 , but I have been reading #ElviraMistressoftheDark Memoirs of the MOFTD book. Pretty good read, I recommend. Please keep comments SFW. Thank you 🖤🦇🪦🐈‍⬛

Day 25 of #Halloween_month_2025

When it comes to treats, cereal is the best one early in the morning or a good late night snack. Who is your favorite?

Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, Frute Brute (or Fruit Brute), Yummy Mummy or Carmella Creeper. I find the banter between the main three.

Day 23 of #Halloween_month_2025

Before Gravedale High, there was a Drak Pack. This show could have been better if the bad guys were the protagonist, like Villainous or League of Super Evil. However, this show is pretty good.

Day 14 of #Halloween_month_2025 🎃🇩🇪

I am going to open the floor to the Scarecrow topic. Any knows there history on SC, we know Germans introduced them to the USA. Now, from every country, how was the scarecrow introduced in your own country and culture? 🌻🤔

Day 12 of #Halloween_month_2025

We all know Scarecrows as humanoid straws that scare off birds from crops. However, Scarecrows actually dates back to 3,000 years ago in Egypt. They are wooden frames covered with Nets.

Day 07 of #Halloween_month_2025

Let's be honest, the best part about Halloween is being something different for one night, at least for me. What was or is your favorite store to shop for costumes? Personally, I miss Party City's costume walls, but Spirit is totally wicked.

Day 03 of #Halloween_month_2025

We all know that #WitchsNightOut is one of the best spooky movie to watch. However, did you know studio Leach/Rankin Productions also released a Christmas special? Who is your favorite character? Which version do you prefer? Witch is awesome 🪄😉

Day 26 of #KungFu month.

The most #Kungfu_80s movie ever. #TheLastDragon_1985. After watching, you can tell this movie is for those appreciate the Art of Kung-Fu & the admiration for Bruce less, while coming out in the 80s. This was fun. If anyone has any 80 film suggestions, I am open to watch. ️

Day 25 of #Kungfu month.

I watched 1979's Mystery of Chessboxing.  A good watch. Reminders:

Day 21 of #KungFu month.

Part 3/?, Under age of 12, Ip Man was a student under #ChanWahShun until Chun suffered a stroke in 1909 and retired back to his village at the age of 57 yr old. More on Chan Wah-Shun at the next post because this research just has layers.

Day 20 of #KungFu month.

I swear, anytime I watch a Kung Fu film with monkey's involved, the movie is 10x more enjoyable (Even without Bruce Lee & Jackie Chan). 1977's #IronMonkey is a revenge story with Shaolin monks & Buddhist practices.

Day 20 of #KungFu month.
1979's Monkey Fist, Floating Snake has the weirdest soundtrack I have heard. This could have benefit being a spoof comedy about Kung-Fu films, like America 1980's Airplane, but it is weird cuts & random dramatic moments.

Day 18 of #Kungfu month.

Part 2/?. Full name Ip Kai Man (or Yip Kai Man), but just referred to as Ip man. Fun Fact: He did study materials arts, but at age 24 years he was employed as a police officer when he returned back to Foshan, China from Hong Kong.

Day 17 of #Kungfu month. For Fun.

After watching #KungFuZombie_1981, I went to watch #VampireKiss_1988 . If this was a contest, which vampire would win?

Just open the floor to any Kung-Fu movie suggestions. It does not have to be a Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan film. I am open to any suggestions.

Day 16 of #Kungfu month.

Last day of sick time. Just watched #KungFuZombie_1981. Honestly, I wish the movie was a dark comedy following Wu Lung and Lu Dai, kind of like #YoungFrankenstein. This movie is good at least to watch around the spooky season for fun. 🧟🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️

Day 15 of #Kungfu month.

I got sick today again, but I watched Mad Monkey Kung Fu (1979) during my recovery. This has been the best Kung-Fu movie, that does not have Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee in it. The story blends well with Kung-fu.

Day 14 of #Kungfu month.

Part 1/? . Let's talk about the IP man (Yip man). Bruce Lee's master. I looked up this guy, and he has some interesting facts. Born on October 1, 1893, in Foshan, China and died on December 2, 1972, in Hong Kong.

Day 13 of #Kungfu month.

My first introduction to Kung-Fu, especially with Chinese Zodiacs, is through Jackie Chan Adventures & Hong Kong Phooey. JCA introduced me in as a serious plot, but as for HKP was kind of light hearted fun. Which cartoon introduced you to Kung-Fu?
