I've always been a fan of pasta dishes, especially when I was young.

Earlier today we made a vegetarian tomato sauce in the crock pot, I added a bit of sweet Italian pork and topped with WI parmesan.

Two baking projects from yesterday:
1-purple sweet potato dinner rolls that were frozen for my family's Thanksgiving meal,
2-caraway rye for dinner tonight (King Arthur Baking).

The rolls had an overnight sponge for 12 hours for maximum flavor development with cool color.

I started this dough yesterday from The Perfect Loaf; it developed flavor overnight in the fridge for 24 hours for extra tang.

The guests for last night's Gathering of Friends dinner said each course kept outdoing the previous, making it very difficult to choose a favorite. That's the goal as a chef.

My favorite was the bourbon sweet potato pie.

This meal raised $700 for charity.
