I'm grateful for the Wandance anime for getting me to check out the manga, but I feel like there is so much expressiveness in the art work that is not utilized enough in the anime and 3d models just do not do justice to the manga at all

My grandpa(who passed when I was very young) was a professional magician, and this was part of his act. It's a vintage starting pistol(like for races) that fires blanks. Apparently it wasn't used for any tricks, but he would pull it out and shoot hecklers in the crowd.

A really cool thing about the Wandering Island manga is the 8 pages of editor's notes that really show just how much effort and the depth of research that Dark Horse put into the English release. It really seems like they did everything they possibly could to put out the best product. It's awesome

Bought a few Blurays from the Sentai early black Friday sale. Flying Witch is the only one I'm familiar with. The other three I know nothing about, but they were cheap so why not

It's gotta be tough translating a manga like this one. You either have to rewrite all the jokes to suit a western audience, or translate a ton of Japanese pop culture references most readers won't understand. Is the manga about comedy cute? Yes. Is the manga about comedy funny? I don't know, lol

I took a gamble on a vague eBay listing without any photos and an unusually low price and it paid off. I ended up with a near perfect copy of Wandering Island vol. 1 for less than half of the price of the other listings. I'm super excited to read this one.

I read 2 woman with cat mangas this week. The left one was alright, but felt very, very short. The one on the right was incredible and I can't stop thinking about how much I enjoyed it.. If anything about it interests you just a little bit, I would say it's a must read.

I think this is the first Yen Press hardcover I've ever seen(I really don't have a clue, maybe they have tons). A little bummed the actual hardcover is blank though.

I never know how personal I want to get on here, but I'm the same age as Jerma and have an adult daughter who is a professional tattoo artist(I have her first 2 tattoos). My house is full of her artwork, but here are some of the anime/manga pieces she has made for me. I love them so much
