Communication is the way to make a better world - not conflict
Or at least control of the means of production which created a social superstructure. However he did chop and change, as well as contradict himself, somewhat

Recognising that an ethnically-skewed culture inherently protects white supremacist positions is a long way from supporting those racist attitudes - indeed it is an observation pretty much exclusive to those who reject such attitudes

I'm with you. There is a big difference between a Protected Belief in law and a belief that is de facto protected by the misapplication of all the other laws
December 3, 2025 at 6:02 PM
I agree. However, taxing economic activity does have a different impact than taxing the hoarded wealth that does little apart from squeeze resources away from everyone else.
December 3, 2025 at 5:39 PM
I agree

You seem to be attached to the US, to the extent that you would wish to retain links even if there were a better alternative. Seems like a dangerously partisan line to me me, but good luck!
December 3, 2025 at 3:17 PM
There is no intention to leave NATO, unless there's a better alternative. If there were to be, then it would be daft not to choose that option
December 3, 2025 at 3:01 PM
If there is a better alternative to NATO that can be created without a need for an unreliable ally such as the US, we should pursue that option - until that point we should work with NATO. Green party policy

Not sure what you mean? I don't think I've moved any goalposts, but happy to clarify
December 3, 2025 at 2:58 PM
Look more closely
December 3, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Yes. However, wealth should be taxed fairly as part of this and at present we are a very long way away from that.
December 3, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Personally, yes. However, the Green spending commitments are based on an updated version of Keynes which has demonstrated many times to be ultimately self-financing. The biggest obstacle is the inequality caused by pre-existing wealth
December 3, 2025 at 2:47 PM
No, that's wrong
December 3, 2025 at 2:43 PM
I see. The mask is off.
December 3, 2025 at 2:42 PM
I'm quite happy to pay higher taxes. But I certainly want the very wealthy to contribute much more widely to the wellbeing of the country - including the health of their employees and the infrastructure that supports their wealth
December 3, 2025 at 2:42 PM
The final chart is clear - in 5 years time none of the bottom 30% of the population will, on average, more than £300 per year in real terms. I acknowledged a small impact
December 3, 2025 at 2:39 PM
In real terms it is exactly that
December 3, 2025 at 2:34 PM
The very rich gain most of their income as a result of returns on assets. They were barely touched. The poorest gained a little, although the tax threshold freeze will affect many on low income
December 3, 2025 at 2:33 PM
If your income does no more than keep track with inflation you will be proportionately taxed more - first at the lower level (including many on low incomes paying tax for the first time) and then at the higher level for middle-income earners.
December 3, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Much as I loathe every inch of Lowe, people live locally, not globally and that is where serious politicians should begin their thinking
December 3, 2025 at 2:26 PM
In what way did the budget overwhelmingly help the poorest? And the take from the ultra wealthy was negligible
December 3, 2025 at 2:23 PM
She did raise the effective rate of income tax for millions of people
December 3, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I've read the book and Tulleken's conjectures regarding why UPFs are so damaging don't hold true for a lot of 'fake meat' products
