It's hard to see the two parties as even remotely equivalent. It's like comparing a murderer to someone who keeps on walking when witnessing a murder. Also, there are plenty of democrats fighting back, you just don't notice them in MSM and if you don't try to look.

While we are stuck with the 2 party system, vote for the "less worse" candidate at every level. If you hate the national nominee, get out there and campaign for the one you prefer earlier, rather than supporting the literal antichrist. It's complete stupidity masquerading as enlightenment.
