Call me crazy, but this is an instinct we have to move past. Some people are truly lost to conspiracy theories and tribalism, but we have to try to engage with people we haven’t before and build new bridges. A large part of MAGA voted for Trump because they thought he would end and not start wars.

Won’t work. I think we have to assume at this point the Trump admin will try to seize Greenland, which will force Europe to respond, perhaps militarily 😢

Even when majorities of the country are against what is happening, Republican officials are so insulated from voters that the pretense of responding to the public has disappeared. Which leaves the party out of power fighting against a party that doesn’t even pretend to govern anymore.

Understand the sentiment, but would offer some nuance. The US electorate is almost evenly divided; it’s not just that the side that voted this administration into power is prone to misinformation and apathy, it’s that their elected Republican officials are no longer responsive to their voters.

Would also recommend calculating your caloric intake and macros. If you haven’t used a kitchen scale before, make it your new best friend. Most of us have no idea what a serving size looks like, and balancing your macros with probably 30% protein will help you feel sated/stave off snacking
