First PT appointment done, and I've got compression socks, a band to stretch with, several exercises, and apparently a goal of 1 appointment per week for 8 weeks.

Just one 2022 email left. THIS WEEK, I swear it.

I ended up sleeping 6pm to midnight, and then again from 3am to 8am. This was surprisingly okay? Maybe I need to do this more often when I end up as tired as that? We'll see if I can sleep at a normal time tonight.

Official orthopedic opinion: I (mildly) fucked up nearly all the soft bits in my ankle/foot. While I don't need surgery, I do need PT (and may have some arthritis in the future as the fracture did go down to the joint). Now to actually *find* PT that accepts my insurance (2 strikes so far)...

Luckily(?), she had put them on, like, a little faux silver jewelry tray either me or M had bought at a garage sale. So we didn't lose a cooking pan, and the toys had been laid on their side so they kind of just...flattened. They came off the tray pretty cleanly! XD

(When we were kids, one of my sisters put several plastic toys in the oven on a tray and my mother didn’t realize until it started to smell like—well, like melting plastic. XD)
