as always, Marianas Trench put on a great show in Kitchener
My outfit. I am wearing a black shirt with pink text on it. The text says “Marianas Trench” and there is also a graphic of a green electric guitar. I am also wearing a red plaid skirt. I am smiling and wearing guitar lock earrings. my hair is in a half-up/half-down style with little buns on top of my head. I also made myself gel glitter for my hair with red fine glitter, black chunky glitter, as well as moon & star shaped glitter. me sitting in the theatre! I am wearing the same outfit as before, except with a jean jacket. I have loop switch earplugs around my neck. they work great for concerts, this was my first time using it for such a purpose! Josh Ramsay, lead singer & lead guitarist for Marianas Trench. He is playing a turquoise electric guitar. He’s a very cool rockstar. The set of Marianas Trench’s show. You can see drummers in front of a backdrop that features a lightning cloud. This tour is called “The Force of Nature Tour”, in reference to many nature-themed lyrics on their latest studio album, Haven.

today I’ve made a bunch of fun little treats for Leota! it’s so easy to make hamster enrichment items at home by making a “glue” out of buckwheat flour/chickpea flour & water (1:1 ratio) and using it to attach seeds etc. to items like wicker balls, sticks, and toilet paper roll

home-made hamster treats and enrichment activities. there are 4 seed balls made of a mixture of seeds, peanut butter, lentils, split peas, and a mix of flour and water. as there are also 2 wicker toys coated with seeds and lentils, they are dried on to the wicker toys using a glue made of chickpea flour & water and baked at a low temperature in the oven. One wicker toy is a sphere while the other is a cylinder. the same mixture as the seed balls, except they are made into festive shapes. there are 7 treats shaped like christmas presents and one treat shaped like a snowman. the snowman was shaped using a cookie cutter and the presents were shaped using a chocolate mold.

a department 56 chicken coop. there is a chicken in a raised coop, a chicken on a ramp up to the coop, and 3 chickens on the snow. there is also chicken feed scattered. a dickensian style department 56 new stand. there is a man standing at the newsstand wearing a cap, scarf, and jacket. beside him is a dapper looking man wearing a double breasted jacket, a top hat, and using a walking stick and glasses. a statue of queen victoria. the text reads “this statue was raised by the people to commemorate our beloved queen.” a swan swimming in a lake. there is a also a tree covered in snow and red berries.

2 days ago, I picked up my ribbons for winning 3rd place in the spirited jellies category of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Jams and Jellies competition!
