The façade of disinterest is gone, as Mokutan now sports a dejected-looking expression, still limply cradling her fingers against Holly's. She hesitates to speak at first. Struggling to find the right words without her usual self-deprecating edge, Mokutan makes an admission to Holly. Mokutan: "...we’ve barely gotten to see each other since we left Werlyt. You promised we’d get to hang out, and I could tell you all about the new life I’ve made for myself, like real sisters or something. So...don't go dying like a hero just so you can cheap out on me, okay?" Holly smiles back at Mokutan, on the verge of loving tears. Mokutan: "...I'm counting on you.

Mokutan stretches as she carries on talking. Mokutan: "...as if you even need someone else getting all doom-'n'gloom on you right now. The sort of stuff you've done? This ought to be a damn breeze." Mokutan grins at Holly, saying something most nefarious and evil (poorly hiding her worry behind a front of being funny). Mokutan: "Though I have been wondering...if I'm your perfect copy, does that mean I get all your stuff if you go and bite it out there? Always thought that cane of yours would make a good backscratcher, so if you care about it at all, you'd better get back home safely. No pressure~!" Cheered up by the humorous 'threat', Holly pats Mokutan's arm, smiling bemusedly as she plays along. "Well, I suppose we can't have that now, can we? Hahaha. I've been on the fence until now, but what the hell, you've convinced me." A shot below the waist shows Holly going to leave. She reveals that she's only recently become aware of the name 'Mokutan', with it only recently at that point having been chosen. Holly: "Your new name is lovely, by the way. I'm glad I got to properly meet you before we left...Mokutan."

Holly holds Tataru's hat close to her, a token she was given in order to promise she would make it back from Ultima Thule to return it. Mokutan appears far more casual in spite of everything, leaning against the rail of the landing deck as she chats. Mokutan: "You really get wrapped up in the craziest stuff, sis. I mean, -I- wasn't worried. I only came 'cause Jessie said if I didn't come, I'd get stuck filing order forms for a month." Behind the 'sisters', the Ironworks crew look to have been listening in beside Livingway, with Jessie now abruptly cutting in with a snarl. Jessie: "The hells I did! You said if we left without you that you'd burn down the whole damn base-!" Mokutan becomes incredibly annoyed and yells back at Jessie, prompting laughter from everyone but them. Mokutan: "QUIT EAVESDROPPIN'!"

Climbing down the stairs of The Forgotten Knight, Delia drags her hand along the banister. Delia: "At least I have good company in these aimless times of mine." She thinks to herself as she walks. Delia: "Everything in Ishgard is changing. So much hope on the winds...I'm unused to it." 'Little-Miss Bodybags'. A symbol of an era passing by." Delia looks out over The Brume, watching a man toil away moving debris despite the rain. Delia: "The Brume, these alleys that so many hard workers slave away to rebuild now, were the same slums I used to fish corpses out from. The noblemen of the High Houses despised each other, unfathomably so, but the one thing they all seemed to agree on was using the place where the destitute lived as the dumping ground for their assassinations." Passing by homes emitting warm glows through their windows, Delia's rigid face slips into a more somber expression. She appears to be on her way to The Forgotten Knight. Delia: "Ishgard will continue to change. To improve. But, I wonder, will I still have a place in it, in the years to come? Or will I be an obsolete relic, better left for the rain to wash away...?"

I had Thoughts™ of the Trans variety about this character that briefly manifested into some AU shots but the nature of Lyna being from Norvrandt made it really hard to have her involved with the continually expanding story. I still really like thinking about it though

Six leans against a pillar in Rhalgr's Reach, alone in the shade as the Ironworks team talks and bickers and sets off to work. Her face is veiled by a mask, obscuring whatever complicated emotions are in her to the viewer. Nero and Cid (as always) bicker between themselves as Nero tweaks at Six's prosthetic arm. Six has flopped onto the table while waiting for it to be returned, either bored or anxious about being left "vulnerable" without her prosthetic (likely a mixture of both). Lilja joins Six in the light of sunset as she makes repairs to Omega, who itself is mostly at is in her grip. Alpha stands nearby, holding on to a screwdriver patiently. A newly unmasked Six, Biggs, and Wedge all scramble away from Jessie, who shoots Biggs a rather annoyed look. Whatever they'd said to irk her, Biggs and Six seem amused by it, racing off together with Wedge in tow.
