i had a dream that in a weird kirby air ride map you could find a secret room and within the secret room was a playable prototype of a scrapped N64 kirby where they completely redesigned him and made him throw word bubbles to attack. this was the New Kirby for Nintendo 64

CURRENT DAY CRUIKSHANKS has evolved in reverse. no longer a lanky tumblr sexyman-type character, he is now back to being a scrungly shape, with the added benefit of also being a little kitty cat under the hat! you tell ME if it's an improvement.

MIDDLE PERIOD CRUIKSHANKS was definitely more human-adjacent and at this point was being played more serious in his ambitions and goals. thank god i cut off that Angsty Serious shit! nothing much survives of older versions, but this unfinished redraw from a few years back is still kicking around.
