Sadly .... I had just purged that earlier and was going through cleaning up a bunch of stuff. It did not have the docs I needed to save again in there this time

Exactly!!! The game has given you information the best way the devs can supply it... and you just purposely missed it! And if it was an accident, at LEAST have the gumption to admit you missed something instead of blaming it on the game itself.
