Our Cornelia Dogwood bushes are finally getting the attention they deserve. In the middle of winter their bright red twigs give us needed relief from the grey skies and sleeping garden. Normally 12x8 ft, regular pruning 3x a year makes room for perennials at their feet. #wintergarden #dogwoods

This little garden is between our driveway and house in a space that used to be concrete. Filled with drought tolerant perennials - geranium, oregano, & chives - plus chard, it’s needs little water or care, is pollinator friendly, colorful and mostly edible. #garden #bloomscrolling #smallgardens

The first blooms to follow our tulips and daffodils are from our Viburnums. The birds love this one which is right outside a window in the family room so the whole family, kitties included, can watch the birds gossiping and arguing who gets to perch where.

Good morning. My youngest son planted these and many more daffodils, with me 20+ years ago. We named them Danny’s Daffodils. He would pick the first bloom every spring and bring it in to me along with his joy. 💚
