Utterly charmed by this anime Japanese Costco. Last time Laura and I were in Japan we regretted not bringing our Costco cards. We just want to go in and seeeee

The anime is "A Sign of Affection." It's a cute romance about a deaf woman falling for a hunky polyglot interested in sign language.
The anime characters are walking through Costco past an open area including recreational equipment. In the background is a wooden playset that I bought for my kids a few years ago. Ah, nostalgia. The characters are all looking at a very large bag of Black Thunder, a Japanese chocolate bar that I enjoy. They are right to be impressed. Their cart is filled with paper towels, orange juice, alcohol, and a very large tiramisu. One of the characters runs a bar. He's picking up supplies. They are not just raging alcoholics.

The McElroys came to Phoenix this weekend, so Laura and I also went to Phoenix for the weekend.
The cat of the Adventure Zone on stage. They are all in costumes. Justin is dressed as a Minion. Clint is dressed as the Phantom of the Opera. Travis is dressed as Batman. Griffin is dressed as Dracula, but he actually looks like Ira Glass with a cape. A mural of the venue with My Brother My Brother and Me on the sign. Clint McElroy apparently rocking the mic.
