Middle of the word - ي for example, 'ya', looks different depending on where it is in the word!

Hehe modern Greek is tough - ancient Greek is better for me since I only need to read it and not speak it lol and speaking is ALWAYS my tough point. Greek does become fairly natural but after a lot of banging your head on the wall lol

Yeah Arabic's alphabet is NOTORIOUSLY hard, Hebrew is good coz the letters never change beyond a couple of final forms and the square script is pretty intuitive (or at least it was for me!). Definitely give it a go, it's a lovely lovely language

Hehe honestly the Hebrew alphabet is so intuitive compared to like Arabic where there are more medial and final forms lol. I do Greek, Arabic, lil bit of Hebrew and have done a lil bit of Phoenician too hehe

Hehehe you flatter me! Interesting point with the Hebrew alphabet - apparently Hebrew is really good for dyslexic folk? Maybe that helps with alphabet acquisition? Or maybe I'm a fool who speaks without knowing things lol
