My view:
- I will adopt digital ID if it is something you add to your Google Wallet. There also needs to be a physical version for those with unsupported devices/dumbphones.
- I will NOT adopt digital ID if it is a dedicated app that needs access to my location, call logs, etc and/or contains ads.

Every year the reasons to use an Android over iPhone are disappearing.
In 2017-18, Samsung's main line of attack against Apple was they had a headphone jack. There was a whole series of ads about this.
Then Android manufacturers got rid of the headphone jack. Then the SD slot. And now sideloading.

Teachers unions will really say exclusions are racist, discriminatory against SEN, or classist, and then they are shocked when many kids don't respect their teachers anymore and beg the parent to help. No doubt there are bad parents, but there isn't really much that can be done about it.
