On the other hand, it areas gave me an intriguing idea for fiction that plays into this and The Truman Show. Make a large habitat somewhere remote with isolated media and "rapture" these folks there and make them believe they were raptured and in their gated community...I mean "paradise."

I can see cancelations being a thing when Disney folded to threats from the FCC to either block the merger of a couple of their ABC affiliate networks or yank their license (which you can't do to ABC itself, but rather the affiliate stations) over critics of the administration.
