Alex and I felt like doing a Studio Ghibli marathon and I was excited to watch this since I’d never seen Nausicaä before. Plot wasn’t the most put-together for me but I love how it laid the groundwork for a lot of Ghibli’s movies and other Japanese media.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this show and I’ve taken to binging it whenever I’m travelling.
I just started Season 6 and I love how much of a “comfort show” vibe it has. The characters are all weird and quirky in a way that doesn’t feel “too much”, IMO.

Yeah, you could argue that this movie might have a few too many “James Gunn-isms”, but between this and My Adventures with Superman, I absolutely missed this vibe with Superman and I never want it to leave!

I haven’t quite done a full run of this game yet, but technical issues aside, I’ve really enjoyed how tongue-in-cheek it is with the concept of taking inanimate objects and making a dating sim out of them featuring a lot of notable voice actors!

Yeah, I totally get the hype around K-pop music now.
I really hope we get more out of this world and these characters to flesh out what the writers probably weren’t able to due to the limited run time.

I quite enjoyed Tartah’s story and how his struggle with this world’s equivalent of colour-blindness affected the plot.
I’ve heard this series deals a lot with the concept of disabilities in a magical setting and I’m looking forward to seeing more of that.

As a fan of the original Cardcaptor Sakura, I’ve been curious to see what CLAMP had in mind for a sequel series. Can’t think of too much to say since it’s only the first volume, but it’s nice to see everyone back and the new card designs look neat.

Goddamn, were these chapters worth the wait!
I wasn’t crazy about the ranking system in 3 but Tenna was fantastic and I still can’t believe I beat the secret boss!
4 is probably my new favourite chapter for the story, music and general aesthetic of everything in it!

I’ve always been intrigued by analog horror despite not being a big horror fan. The library setting in the sequel was fun to interact with and I’m excited to see what the lore has been building up to in the finale.

Took me a bit to wrap my head around some of the gameplay especially since it’s more puzzle-oriented, but I feel like I adapted pretty quickly. Overall, I’m just happy that Zelda finally has her own game!

We have friends we do bad movie nights with and we decided to watch the RiffTrax take on one of the worst movies of all time.
I don’t remember the actual film being all that engaging so it’s great to have comedians chime in to break up the monotony.

Holy crap, did this movie do a good job at covering themes of race and culture under the premise of a vampire movie. So far it’s still the movie of the year for me!
Also, if Michael B. Jordan doesn’t at least get nominated for an Oscar, I’m gonna be pissed!
