I saw film in early 2024 that made clear that RFK Jr‘s longterm goal was end of vaccination, didn’t guess then he’d get power to try to do that, step by step, since doing it in one fell swoop is hard.

I strongly recommend fine documentary “A Shot in the Arm” on vaccine hesitancy & its (often well-paid) promoters, incl RFK, Jr.
www.pbs.org/video/shot-i...
Watch whole thing, but especially:
34:32-onward RFK, Jr
43:45-50:27 Samoa deaths: he denies/evades involvement, video records contradict.
Shot in the Arm
Explore vaccine hesitancy historically and in the context of COVID-19.

Thanks for this thorough and substantive rebuttal. As a data scientist, suggest citing "hazard ratio" rather than "rate": "Children who received MMR vaccine had an autism [hazard ratio] of 0.93 compared to unvaccinated children" and "autism [hazard ratio] was 0.93 per milligram of aluminum".

Not your level of education nor social status. Black women in the U.S have 4-5x higher maternal mortality compared to any other racial group. The systemic bias &racism baked into the system ensures that this dark trend continues. As health professionals we must continue to call this out & do better

Today, there are a huge number of BAD observational studies coming out because of the predatory publishing industry.

Basic demographics aren’t even corrected for.

Major factors of a health outcome, like age & cancer, or age & neurodegenerative disease —aren’t adjusted for.

OBSERVATIONAL studies do this as a rule.

They don’t control for variables.
They look at data & make guesses about what might be related to each other.

But they *cannot*, by definition, make claims that one causes the other.

Because it’s just passively observing.

They need to show the evidence they do believe shows an association between vaccines and autism. I can guarantee that they’re flawed (and many have been retracted because of flaws and sometimes outright fraud).
