Just to be clear, the moment they willfully ignore orders from a federal judge, the last functioning check on executive power will be gone, and we will have staggered into fascist autocracy. This tweet is a tell, setting up a righteous justification for it - “saving” the country.

And the collaborators and enablers like my senator won’t be forgotten. They will own it, although I suspect that will be cold comfort for the rest of us.
