Ok, after rather a lot of admin maneuverings, and with numerous staff and man-hours involved, I am fully funded for the semester, am scheduled to graduate in May, my grad school app is currently under review, and I sent my research proposal to the anthropology grad school coordinator.

Today is the second anniversary of my return to Milwaukee.

Since 06.09.23, I have rebuilt my life into something I thoroughly enjoy, is appropriately challenging, and the course of which I anticipate with relish.
One camp might paint me as a lion; another, a mouse.

I live above a corner store on the western edge of one of the most beautiful, ungated, urban communities in the country, replete with evidence of the Prairie School Master and his student’s work, buzzing with fireflies, somewhat relaxed rabbits, and filled with my gratitude as I pace contentedly.
