For the first time in history, your computer and your phone are capable of deciding that they don't want to talk to you either.

There was once a time they were not mere burden reduction but absolutely necessary. Back when you had only 320x200 pixels to push around.

I do miss them, but maybe they were mere excuses for poor in-game UI? *shrugs* The glossy box feel has been absent for a long time.

That's also the biggest trap though. Being full-time employed and feeling like you can take your time means, it's all too easy to explode your scope. I'm sitting on a compiler and game engine from scratch, and thinking I should focus on making a game instead.. but I so want to do the bigger thing.

I'm totally unqualified to make this comment - I think you need to add a subtle motion to the main bone in time with the wing thrusts - up slightly on the down thrusts, and settling back to origin on the up.

Looking forwards to your update post. Your launch date happens to be my birthday too :-)

This post is the first mention I've seen for your game, which looks really slick, great job. Are you talking about the video already up on the steam page, cos that looks great.
Good luck with your launch!

Where it would matter to me, I'm already out of all but one.

I don't know.
But it seems to me that items 1-4 aren't related to godot directly.

1 = vulkan.
2-4 = C# & .NET

I'm going to name a product and it could change your life.

Velcro.

A self tapping screw through a Velcro loop and you've got re-usable cable management under that desk for its lifetime.

This advice brought to you by a fella with four monitors, wired camera, mic, tablet, keyboard & mouse.
