*this is half superstition, half truth. Good wild microflora can be found anywhere but it will take trial and error. Still it would at least temporarily change the product.

I used the rochefort yeast expelled from my beer fermentation through the blow off tube to bake it. Trappist sandwich bread!

My parents cupboard (where the beer's fermenting) smells like a sugarcane mill and a Christmas spice drawer. It's divine.

A Trappist style quad! Trappist beers famously incorporate sugar into their fermentables, and specifically dark candi syrup for quads, which is hyper-maillardified (but not caramelized!) sugar. I made my own from golden kohlapuri jaggery and it's maybe the best decision I've ever made.

It's a good time.

Maybe I'll just do this every couple of months and refuse to ever explain my reasoning

Why should the universe exist solely through the interactions of abstract "fields" whenever a much better analogs already exist in the macroscopic world? God's creation wouldn't be defined through asymmetries between the large and small and any asymmetries that exist in your understanding of 1/2
