Thank you so much, I feel the imposter syndrome heavily at times. But there is just too much that has changed my entire worldview and understanding of my childhood, when I frame it from the perspective of being autistic. It’s obvious on a lot of levels, just not all the ones docs look at! 🫠🙄

Same here! I’ve been considering once my current iPhone 14 Pro can’t stay charged or run the iOS, I’ll get a basic old person flip phone and go back to how it was in the early 2000’s. Desktop for Discord and Bluesky. Basic texting if needed. It would probably help my anxiety anyways!

I at least got diagnosed with ADHD in the 90’s - which was almost unheard of for girls at that time!

Which only happened because my brother got diagnosed first!!

It might not be complete junk - but we can do better.

My main reason for complaint is that a vast majority of that information was based off male patients and very little attention paid to how women present differently.

This is a huge part of why women in their 30’s are now getting late diagnoses.

DSM is in need of revision/overhaul.
