As an aside: One thing I find fascinating is that someone can have one incredible (or lucky) investment (almost 20 years ago) and people become convinced they are the Oracle of Delphi.

I think the old word for Substack was "blog", which people got board of and forgot about when Twitter came around; then they started to think was a genius idea again when they could put up a paywall.

Perhaps the concern is that the NAV growth is driven by Ferrari - which obviously will not be repeated and is not indicative of any exceptional acumen of Elkann. I know nothing - just speculating!

“Dominated” is a dramatic overstatement. It was a very competitive fight that could have gone either way. I thought he was actually more dominant in the second fight (a non-consensus view, admittedly).
