Guess they're just going off of when the people behind the Sonic movie changed the Sonic design (also for the 2014 TMNT movie where people complained about the turtles being aliens and thus hat to put the TM in the name)

It's incredibly demoralizing given what got lost with the changes.

NewGrounds is good for curating art, so is Tumblr for the most part (given circumstances behind that site it has become a lot cooler there, also good to share my writing)

What they did to notes was the final nail in the coffin for me. Notes were the only thing that kept me on the site, now beyond talking to mutuals who're staying there I'm done with the site.
