Since the national standards are already 400ft, that would make it upwards of 10 mins to a stop if we assume it goes up to 800ft. If we can achieve even 50% higher spacing like NYC, we would only be at 300ft, a better national standard and still in the bottom of the U.S.

Absolutely, we need accessibility discussions and I'd be shocked if CDOT didn't do extensive outreach on the matters (they already do). However, looking at Seattle's spacing, I can absolutely see why removing a stop can be detrimental, since yall are 400 ft vs Chi 225.
