Taking a break from my fundraising posts today.

This afternoon my 91 year old Grammy passed away. We had a wonderfully cheeky relationship.

She loved in her quiet Irish way
I meant to post earlier today but I’ve been a bit disoriented. This afternoon my 91 year old grandma passed away. Grammy moved in with us right before Covid hit. It was a bit of adjustment but I loved living in a multi-generational home. Grammy lost a lot of independence in her last few years, and was on hospice for about two years. In order to make her feel as independent as possible, we let her move about our house freely but installed cameras to keep an eye on her. I was that eye. I’ve been watching her on those monitors every day since to help keep her safe. Grammy was a tough Irish cookie and I hope through osmosis I have gained some of her grit.
