Yearly vet visit day for Piper and Luna, if you can't tell, they are not thrilled about it. Last time Piper was here was for her spay, so she's all drooly and nervous. And Moona doesn't like carriers or being anywhere that isn't our house. Hopefully goes quick and easy!

Mainly, I'd proof longer after taking out of the fridge, prior to baking, also not kneading the dough at all after the first rise. I'm very new to bread that isn't quick bread, and fermented starters. But I'm excited to learn and do more! Got a traditional flour starter going now, and potato flake!

With starter/dough recipe and guidance courtesy of @sweetbitters.bsky.social , and an additional recipe that recommended the filling, frosting and cinnamon caramel recipe, I made my first ever batch of from-scratch cinnamon rolls this morning! Got ideas for what to tweak next time too!

My first adventure in focaccia, made the other day! I was so excited that I may have started a sourdough starter thanks to help and a recipe from Bitters xD I haven't made much in the way of bread, so I'm pretty jazzed! 🤣

Piper is at the vet today for her spay surgery. It's the first time I've ever had to leave her somewhere that isn't home (or Dad's, when we visit.) 😭 The ladies there are all super nice and she was happy to say hi to them, and wasn't upset going with them 💜 It's hard sending them in for surgery, -
