reading this it looks like the breaking rust news cycle was basically BS. we're talking about a chart that reflects paid digital downloads, which is (a) a market with almost no customers (b) one you could (I think) buy your way to the top of by spending $2500 www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-ne...

i think this is definitely part of whats going on, but also: how weird is it to discover, a week ago, that the guy who shouted "drill baby drill" for months on the campaign trail is maybe not the biggest fan of EV subsidies

2) this part of the story is arguable a bigger deal than anything the board is doing. Musk has seemed bored at times and has behaved in self destructive ways. If he is losing interest it will create a massive crisis for tesla
