up to you for how much you want to share it out. i think in the future we could have some additional settings for locking it down/run in a headless mode if you don't want others to use it

could hack around it and via the origin url possibly

yeah that comes through via recordingMbId. teal would have to add an additional field for the plyr track or something? cc: @teal.fm

@zzstoatzz.io is there a quick way to get the album art for a plyr track?
December 15, 2025 at 11:05 PM
haha it's making a comeback!

I forgot about basecoat! I remember seeing it a while back.
December 15, 2025 at 7:57 PM
Sweet! For sure! If you have any interest in contributing feel free to open a PR too, I can help guide

Awesome!

webhook would definitely be the easiest, could even wire it to do batch calls. then you can use whatever lang you want to write the webhook validator with. the wasm route is interesting though would have to look into that some more
December 15, 2025 at 7:05 PM
yeah it would just be the raw records, media is stored on the PDS
December 15, 2025 at 6:44 PM
yeah that might be pricey, if you do though I'm interested in seeing how well quickslice handles larger backfills. should just buy a hetzner instance and let it cook
December 15, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Looks nice! I've gotta deploy a tangled quickslice so you could pull repos
December 15, 2025 at 6:31 PM
That's an interesting idea! Maybe a webhook?

blog.fsck.com/2025/10/09/s... talks about the workflow. not the best guide on how to use it in a practice, maybe I should do a write up on it.

Thanks, @iame.li!! Let me know if there’s anything you want to see! And yeah I think quickslice could “tap in” to tap. If tap adds a way to dynamically add collections it should work. I don’t see a way to do that unless I’m missing something.

you have to be diligent though and make sure it uses the write plan skill to write the plan. i’ve just been committing them because they’re helpful to look back on sometimes tangled.org/slices.netwo.... you can also plan out a bunch of things you want to do and execute them at any time!
December 15, 2025 at 4:28 PM
are you using the superpowers plugin flow at all? i've found it's way better about catching things early on. you can also review the plan which has a lot of the code written out before you execute. i've been using it for the past weeks now for and only use raw claude mode for simple changes.

You can also run it locally pretty easily if you pull the repo and docker compose.
