The ITC repeal….Remember, we are winning! Solar is the cheapest fastest energy to deploy. This industry has a long track record of innovating our way to success no matter the circumstances. In the words of @tombrady.bsky.social, “LFG!”

The Japanese rail system is magic. There is no need for cars to get to most destinations. I wish this was more common in the US.

Its crazy to me that contractors still don't know they can cut massively cut their operating costs by purchasing an electric van: electrek.co/2025/04/05/c...
Costco Executive members get MASSIVE $31,500 off Chevy Brightdrop van
GM's Chevy Brightdrop electric van is one of the best commercial EVs you can buy. And if you're a Costco member, you get more than $30K off!

Interesting: small home batteries that you can plug into any wall outlet & tuck away just about anywhere. If you plug in multiples, they automatically form a mesh network.

This is the battery equivalent of "balcony solar."
You Don't Need an Electrician to Install This Smart Home Battery
The former Tesla engineers who founded Pila Energy say their battery can make it easier and more affordable for consumers to weather power outages.

I agree with Nate. 20-30kWhs installed on every home. This was Kunal’s thesis for starting Lunar Energy. ConnectDER is working on shrinking install cost with a new meter socket adapter designed for battery storage. The remaining work to do is to fix permitting & interconnection.
For years I’ve thought about batteries.

If we can get to 20 kwh installed for $6-7k, that replaces a whole home generator with far more benefits.

Most outages are short, and if homeowners can get paid for grid balancing they can pencil.

Do you want to avoid getting sick this winter?

Avoid breathing other people's germs by bringing in outdoor air and keeping carbon dioxide levels in the 500-800 ppm range (400-450 is outdoor level.)

I've been making content in this area since 2012, so there's some stuff kicking around lol! I wrote the book in 2017, not much of my thinking has changed.
