I'd also like to add that I respect Hotta a lot because the reason I was added to this test WAS BECAUSE I didn't like TOF. They contacted me because they knew I'd give honest feedback. If I didn't like it, they know I wouldn't be afraid to give them what I truly felt. That alone deserves respect.

It doesn't matter if the origin is gacha. They created a single player full experience without gacha and multiple characters with skills. Even if we remove that, Sonic isn't a gacha game. Tekken isn't a gacha game, Final Fantasy originally wasn't a gacha game. These all fit the same description.
