AI is awful but fear of failure, esp. in a setting where there is assessment that can affect the rest of your working life, is surely rational?

As a historian I reflect on failure a lot.

Funny how nearly all the main cities in Belgium have English versions of their names, e.g. Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, but not Liège.
I reckon it's because there weren't as strong trading links in past centuries (& it was an independent prince-bishopric).
