a lot of my year was taken up by FFVII and Hollow Knight stuff. if I had finished Rebirth in time it would also be up here pretty high

2025 LastFM stats :> I think the Kevin Abstract stuff got split up across different names, or else he would have hit top 5 for sure. listened to a ton of Numi in December and she shot up to the top quick. gonna try to get my numbers up in 2026

spent 2 days on Bazzite before switching to CachyOS due to broken OBS plug-ins, HSR not working, lagging ui, and needing more non-flatpaks than I expected. slowly adjusting to arch stuff, but things are looking better so far. I never thought I'd become an arch user lol

my choices for the Backloggd best of 2025. played E33 a bit too late and am a bit too unsure right now for it to get GOTY or best gameplay. maybe after my NG+ run. Silksong and Hades 2 have been my contenders ever since they released and they were very close for me

finally beat Expedition 33 yesterday. I'm a bit conflicted about parts of the gameplay, but it is a truly special game. competes with FFVII for the best characters, music, and story of anything I played this year

ngl I miss when holidays were still fun for me. I have negative memories of pretty much all of them at this point, and I've lost my reasons to celebrate/participate. at this point they are just cool aesthetics to observe from the outside for me

my TV just suddenly died in middle of the night while turned off. was literally using it last night, turned it off to sleep, then turned it on in the morning and all the pixels are fucked. no fall or any impact. just randomly dead. and out of warranty. great start to the day
