I mean, there are a lot of people I think are jerks. I support transferring the properties they own to me.

Not sure what I'd do with them, but it would be really funny.

Notre Dame? The Catholic school?

Game recognizes game?

Many do not know this, but Crassus actually made his fortune by offering predatory high-interest sports-horse loans to recently-recruited legionaries.

I have no regrets.
I'm adding a mech-sized M1 Garand firing massive slugs to my indie game.

Because it seems cool as hell.

Not sure if I can make a mech-sized M1 Garand, but it would be funny.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those come out into the open when I was in (late 2000s-early 2010s). Reminded me of the Catholic Church's own scandals a decade earlier.

That said, scouting can do a lot of good. It gave me the morals I keep to this day, especially my strong support of environmentalism.

In fairness, Hegseth doesn't strike me as trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, or reverent.

Now that I think about it, there's a non-zero chance somebody thinks "physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight" means "woke."

Same. Also an Eagle Scout, and we also had a lot of guys who enlisted.

And the ones who didn't join tended to have a pretty strong set of morals, too.

Somehow, this is not the weirdest that Aubrey Huff has been about women.

I could be completely wrong, but the way you describe it kind of reminds me of how some people just look at the back of the book for the answer.

This is entirely a spitball, but I wonder if some people think "having good politics" = "being a good person."

Instead of "having good politics" is a part of "being a good person."

Basically, having good politics doesn't automatically make somebody a good person, but some people think it does.

Somehow, they managed to go more nuts than Bruce Lee coming back to life.

Honestly, I have no idea what the hell's going on with Hitman, but I'm down for a new elusive target.

I know I'm late, but for what it's worth, my family (who are pretty tuned-in as far as people go) are paying absolutely zero attention to this right now.

To be specific, the answers were "No," and "No. Also I'll have what you're having for dinner."

Glad to see the "Twitter makes you stupider" theory is taking off.

She's basically MAGA's version of Prigozhin.

Which means she has the chance to do the funniest thing ever (For legal reasons, I do not support leading a convoy of mercenaries to Washington DC).

I've always been a big fan of saying "I don't know" when I don't know enough."

Heck, it's probably 50% of the reason I passed my senior thesis in college (The other 50% is my teachers might've wanted to get rid of me).

Oh, that guy?

I knew he sounded familiar.
November 12, 2025 at 10:28 AM
I like Eric. He's a good guy, and I remember talking to him on the Hitler site about DC politics. Honestly was one of the most-insightful conversations I had over there.

Unfortunately, he knows how DC works, and the average person on the internet... doesn't.
Oh, there's a simple explanation:

The average person who talks political strategy on the internet has the political instincts of a cinder block.

That mustache is a crime against fashion and humanity and living proof that no, not all guys can pull it off.

Double-checked, and it is from Halo: The Cole Protocol by @tobiasbuckell.bsky.social.

It's a good book. Can recommend.
