This week’s leather-working project—a knife sheath. Done freehand, so a little messy. Also my first knife sheath.

The other piece of leather for the sheath has the symbol for the wiccan triple goddess etched into it. The knife now tucked into the finished sheath, which now has the triple goddess symbol dyed silver and teal stitching.

Local-ish cafe I was interested FULLY LOST ME when they put out and ad for the opening weekend of their Gaming & **CRAFTING** Cafe made with fucking AI art. Garbage.
A facebook post touting a new Gaming & Crafting Cafe with the name of the establishment blacked out to not shame them… even thought they should be shamed and embarrassed beyond belief by the ad, as it is blatantly AI. The easiest tell of this is the D20 die in the ad has mangled numbers, including at least two 25s, a 20 with a backwards 5 under it, and a 60. Not to mention their paint brushes bleed into the background, and therefore are hard to visually read as brushes. For a cafe that wants to draw in crafty people, this is incredibly gross.

I was stalking the UPS truck and gnawing at the bars of my enclosure all day yesterday waiting because my copy of MUTED Vol. 1 by @mirandamundt.bsky.social was on its way and it’s HERE and BEAUTIFUL. The hardcover edition has thick glossy pages, I’m in love!

I saw the short-lived Broadway run in 1997. I would have been 12ish. I still have my CD that my Dad bought me in the theater. I can sing almost EVERY song from memory.

Got lost in @talespire.com making some terrain slabs to copy-paste together into a [REDACTED BECAUSE MY PLAYERS ARE SOME OF MY ONLY FOLLOWERS]. So many neat ideas. So little time to put them all together. I remember when this was the most complicated board I made… it’s so quaint to me now.
