Pretty sure just like with Ao every fan of Sky loves both regardless of preference between the two, but I do think most of the hardcore Sky fans I know these days prefer FC.

Also Ao final chapter was unironically the proto version of the CS4/2 structure lmao. Someone in falcom was just like yo…we could stretch a full game out of this.

I kinda think i might have finally awakened to the first kiseki games now being better than the second one. Which is the opposite of how I used to feel, but I need to replay SC and Ao (and Zero) to be sure

But my GotY nomination had to be Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. To me, it
was a beautiful and nostalgic step back into a game that, when I originally played it, altered my brain chemistry and began an obsession. 1st Chapter reminded me of that love once again & brought me back into the Trails fold.

Anyway, Digimon was one of the best and most addictive monster raising RPGs Ive ever played, DS2’s story was beautiful and quirky Kojima excellence, DQ1 and 2 were non stop treats of beauty and Expedition 33’s soundtrack was possibly the best part, with beautiful track after beautiful track.
