The reason I skip the game awards is why I also skip Nintendo Directs or Xbox Showcases or whatever Sony does. I'll just Google what was announced during the event and if anything sounds interesting, I'll look it up 🤷♂️

I haven't wanted to buy any Nintendo products since they changed the EULA to say they can brick your system if they suspect you've tampered with it or interacted with mods or hacks in any way. The fact that you don't even get to have the game any more after all that just cements it for me.
