It is posts like these that make me so happy I married a woman.

We actually take care of the other and do what we can to take care of things around the house without the other, if its needed. We never berate the other for being ill, because their illness is never an inconvenience.

As a former postal carrier, good luck having the time to find or date anyone.

My voter data is in one of those states (and older history in another). Thank you for all you and your firm do to protect our rights to privacy and to vote in equal and fair elections.

I remember at the climax of the movie having to ask my parents (as a tween/teen) about all the stock commodities and why it was a big deal. I never questioned that those two needed to be taken down for the bullshit they pulled.

I need to get my wife to watch this movie this holiday season.

I work as a proctor, proctoring for state level exams for licensing and the GED. We are all warned to watch out for them because of their recording, broadcasting, and live chat features (AI or person). These are highly banned and completely not allowed in my center.

@celestialgreen.bsky.social 's wife here, I listen to a bunch of radio play podcasts and other science based ones. I know some shorter space opera that has a bit of a horror twist to it. You can try 'Vast' or 'Liberty' by Fool & Scholar. Also the Midst Cosmos podcast has a good sci-fi western vibe.

I'm not sure other than I'd love some lore. Either that or I may generate my own order in honor of your own for some worldbuilding because the world needs more badass women who taken nothing from men.

Ready for an Episode 1 TPK!

Seriously, cannot wait, this is going to be an amazing project for all involved. I'm sure of it.

You are amazing and deserve every accolade for your wonderful and hard work. I cannot wait to see this game myself.

Wonderful! I haven't been down there in over 10 years, since I worked there, but beautiful little treasures not far from Grand Canyon itself.

Still a beautiful site I see. Did you get a chance to go to Walnut Canyon National Monument as well to see the cliff dwellings?

This look like one of the sites at Wupatki National Monument outside of Flagstaff, AZ. I worked in conjunction with this awesome NPS site about 10 years ago. I was at Sunset Crater Volcano NM but many times drove down the road to help out at Wupatki and explored any of its sites. Beautiful place.

Oh of course! My problem with the big ones is what do I do after? Plus it's hard to find styles that I want to do now a days.

This all looks amazing. I usually do the larger stuff, like Dimensions and other individual artists as well. I've been attempting to do smaller projects lately but I'm having a hard time getting myself going.

I would love to see more!

I proctor for college exams, GED and state licensing exams. We have all been heavily aware to keep an eye out for these glasses for potential use in exams to curtail leaking of information and cheating.

I finished reading What If? by Randall Munroe of @xkcd.com and plan on starting the second one. Also watching West Wing to remember and hope for the days of functional government.

is utterly cruel and you should think and re-evaluate your privilege of having learned and worked in music that sets itself as the standard potentially at gunpoint to a culture in the past. 6/6

force our own idea of music upon the world and make it the standard. If we want it to be universal than we have to keep in mind the whole of the world, and not what some white guys set down 300 years ago and said 'it works for us'.

And saying someone is hateful because they're making you think 5/?

to our sensitive ears, because god forbid we hear something that is completely different and think it sounds like trash. Even late 20th and 21st century music that uses atonal systems have to try to conform while people are trying to break all the rules. Music isn't a universal language when we 4/?

telling everyone else to conform to them.

She wasn't being hateful, she's making people think about our language, idioms and sayings and how they're based in this colonizer mentality. We force instruments to tune to our modality. We force people to learn our style. We force people to conform 3/?

It's a standard that was taken around the world and forced upon others because we wanted to document their music too instead of finding a new way to notate music. It's like saying that the Roman Alphabet that most of Europe uses, had to be the standard while they went around with guns and ships 2/?

Calling out our colonizing language and arts is not hateful, it's actually supposed to be thought-provoking. Western form of notating music was made by the white men who worked for the wealthy and the religious 300+ years ago, and we have made that the standard for all of this time since. 1/?
