I appreciate the suggestion of mothership or free league's system but I don't have that kind of money for either. DND may be built for high fantasy but its workable beyond that with the right mindset and approach. The challenge of bending the DND structure to fit Aliens sounds fun to me.

Eventually yeah. I know there's a TTRPG alien game design already but I'm too lazy to find or use it so working on figuring out my own DND heavy version. Just tryna recalibrate my brain from vampires to sci-fi for it.
