Day 24: FTF or IWTB
Oh for sure FTF. I went with college roommates opening weekend. I wish those of you not there could experience what the theater was like when that bee showed up. A collective outcry of frustration. Just in a normal movie complex on the weekend. #xfiles25days
In the 1998 film The X-Files: Fight the Future, Mulder and Scully are in close up, appearing like they are about to kiss. His bottom lip is about five millimeters from her top lip. His hands are on her neck and one of her hands is on his shoulder. Not to spoil the movie or anything, but they aren’t ACTUALLY about to kiss because it’s going to be unbelievably interrupted by a bee sting—but it sure looks like it is inevitable in this photo.

Day 22: fav revival episode
I don’t HATE the revival, and there are moments I love. But the ep I really lost myself in from beginning to end was Rm9sbG93ZXJz. Fun plot, and it felt like the show was engaging more meaningfully with contemporary issues (and contemporary TV storytelling). #xfiles25days

Day 19: fav season 9 ep
Only answer I can even consider is The Truth. That poorly-lit, Skinner-witnessed kiss. The final Pilot-bookend conversation. I might not love the season as a whole, but LOVE those scenes. #xfiles25days

Day 13: s6 ep
In a season I adore, Field Trip’s my favorite. One of the show’s amazing penultimate partnership episodes (eps about altered perception and the Mulder-Scully dynamic that air right before the season finales s3-6), this MOTW is just about Them in the best way.

Day 12: fav character other than Mulder / Scully
Krycek. He’s hot af, plus he’s always had an interesting Vampire Lestat-style survivor morality and fluid sexuality. I was always disappointed we never learned his back story. (I once wrote Krycek/Marita, Krycek pov, back in the day!) #xfiles25days

Surprisingly difficult for me to narrow down—I didn’t know I was such an opinionated Skinner scene fan lol. I’m choosing the tense Scully-Skinner-Mulder standoff at the beginning of Paper Clip because I honestly just love it. #xfiles25days
