I don't know how open the Black Myth games are bc I'm not super invested in them, but those or Wuchang: Fallen Feathers are in a similar boat

Closest I can think is Xuan Yuan Sword 7, but it's more open area than open world. Something like a new Jade Empire would probably be the closest thing to happening AAA wise (or like, Dynasty Warriors 9 but better).

Allowing herself a moment of weakness at the end, even if it's only for the viewer. She's probably my favorite character in the series for how strongly she's portrayed.

This is why I love Way to Fall as the ending credits song. It feels like The Boss, in her last moments, trying to pass on as much knowledge/life experience as possible to her son, but also admitting her despair in her final hours. It's really humanizing and one of my favorite parts of the game. -

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is p fun. Cool air combos/grabs but not too difficult in execution

I'm glad more people are branching out to experiences outside of the AAA gaming space. More people need to experience tripping over a new favorite on pure happenstance alone

Found the same thread, complete lack of understanding for how the game industry works, and now they ""the fans"" won't be getting anything.

R-Type is cool, and it'll put you back into the IREM mines, which is always fun. It's also not hyper-paced, which helps getting into shmups imo
