Well the funny thing about the “American dream” was they never mentioned taking out a mortgage, getting a loan for that wonderful car and all those fancy gadgets you buy. So you just chase the dream and bury yourself in debt chasing it. It’s no different in going to Vegas or playing the lottery.

Personally I think Americans need to go back to school and learn about democracies and SOCIAL SAFETY NETS which is what socialism is all about. Programs for ALL of society. You can take both political parties and stick them both up somebodies ass until you can figure that out. GO BERNIE AND AOC

Personally my take so far in the Ken Burns documentary is that the “haves” started a war between the other “haves” played army for a bit and went back to being “haves” and left the fighting to the poor, immigrants, and slaves promising stuff they never had to give.Then begged the French for help.
