Getting blood work done and receiving timely results was never the challenge it is today. These delays highlight how the #healthcare crisis continues to worsen, despite #government claims to the contrary.

Patients reporting that they can’t get in for basic bloodwork because there are no appointments and drop in can be many hours of waiting. Delays in labs is not safe when I need to see the effects of a med or response to therapy. Some are being given dates 4 plus weeks out.

Postal strike impacts healthcare notifications!

With my daughter's surgery Friday, we didn’t get the usual mailed notice—luckily, the hospital called. But our TAP forms for BCCH travel never arrived, leaving us scrambling to get a new form locally. 1/3

NEW - BCers won't see their $500-$1,000 NDP affordability cheques until March at the earliest, after Premier David Eby says he needs to introduce legislation in February to execute the cheques+income tax cut he promised in the election campaign. Realistically, it'll probably be much later than March
